Whether you were a kid in the 90s, a parent, or a teacher who didn’t yet have to worry about phones being a big distraction (flip phones just weren’t as cool), reminiscing about the 90s makes us think of everything from Lisa Frank to Nirvana.
Since we’re in the business of making pocket folders (and yes, we do make them for schools!), we thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and show off some popular school folders from the 90s.
So dig out those over-priced JNCO jeans (R.I.P.), put on Clueless, or rebel against rock with some grunge, because we’re about to take you on a trip down memory lane to the 90s.
WWF (errrr, WWE)
The Rock appeared in the ring in the late 90s. Being that he’s starred in at least 45 movies and is one of the highest-paid actors, you should consider yourself a lucky wrestling fan if you still have his vintage WWF school folder from the 90s.
Rugrats (Nickelodeon)
Try getting the Rugrats theme song out of your head after looking at this vintage 90s school folder.
Lisa Frank
No list of 90s-era memorabilia would be complete without the likes of Lisa Frank collectables.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Which one was your favorite? Technically, this is a binder, but we figured it’s close enough for jazz.
Trolls!
Denim (with paint splatter, of course)
Could you be any more 90s?
Goosebumps
Which episode was your favorite? Monster Blood? The Werewolf of Fever Swamp? The Blob That Ate Everyone?
Whichever episode is your favorite, we think this vintage Goosebumps pocket folder—while not terrifying—lives up to the spookiness of the iconic show.
Concept Cars from the 90s
Mercury, Corvette, Aztec, SSR… at least one name has stuck around, while the rest? Well, the rest might be as vintage as these 90s concept car school folders.
Garfield (and Odie)
Whether you admired his lasagna-eating skills, or were annoyed by his slightly apathetic attitude, Garfield is a staple cartoon character of the 90s.
The Little Mermaid
This pocket folder comes straight from 1991. And, of course, our favorite mermaid is using our favorite hair brush. But we have to wonder what Sebastian is so excited about…
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Ok, so this folder says 1989, but that’s close enough to the 90s. Also, we really like this folder because, let’s face it, mutated turtles aren’t supposed to have nostrils.
Looney Tunes
Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Tweety…. all dressed in 90s-appropriate attire, of course.
Pokémon
Gotta catch ’em all, gotta catch ’em all…
Whether you watched Ash and Pikachu’s adventures starting back in 1997, or got addicted to the popular Pokéman GO app launched in 2016, fans across generations will want this action-packed pocket folder.
Dennis Rodman & Scottie Pippen
Even if you weren’t a Chicago Bull’s fan (six championships in the 90s!), we’re willing to bet you’ve at least heard of the colorfully charismatic Dennis Rodman.
Nsync
Raise your hand if marrying Justin was ever one the the fortunes in your paper fortune teller (cootie catcher)…

School folders that we make
While we at Easy Pocket Folders don’t make folders like these above, we do excel at making school mascot folders, recruitment or admissions folders, and even new student orientation folders.
